3rd-5th Grade Girls Basketball- Dribble into basketball season this October with Billings Parks & Recreation’s Girls Basketball program. This is a great program for those newer to the game of basketball and would like to learn fundamental skills. Participants can choose between three middle school practice locations! Practices start on October 21st and teams will play games on Saturdays for 4 weeks starting November 2nd at Orchard Elementary (120 Jackson St, Billings, MT 59101). *Practice times, locations and days may change based on participation numbers and gym availability. *

The success of our Youth Programs depends on great coaches! We are currently looking for motivated individuals who would like to give back to the community by coaching a basketball or volleyball team. Coaches must have the ability to teach and instruct skills and game fundamentals through various drills and scrimmages. Coaches are responsible for providing a positive and safe environment for children and must possess excellent communication skills, energetic personalities and the ability to work closely and patiently with children. If you are interested in coaching a youth team with Parks and Recreation, please contact the Parks and Recreation office or apply on the City of Billings website. 3rd-5th grade girls basketball is available at 3 area middle school sites around Billings. 4th graders will be given the option of joining with 3rd graders or 5th graders depending on skill and/or experience level.
