Dog Parks

The Billings Parks & Recreation Department along with the Friends of Billings Dog Parks mission is to create parks where dogs can romp and play off leash in a secure setting with their owners and other dog friends. We want to promote socialization and educational opportunities that support healthy dogs and foster a sense of community by bringing dogs and people together.
Established in 2008, the Friends of Billings Dog Parks joined the Parks & Recreation Department in raising funds to help build our first dog park in High Sierra Park. More recently, they have donated $80,000 for the development of a second dog park in Centennial Park. Their continued goal is to raise funds to provide additional amenities for both dog parks.
