Scorpion Lacrosse camp is the perfect opportunity to learn how to play the “fastest game on two feet”! Lacrosse is a combination of several sports, including basketball, soccer, and hockey. Camp will be organized by Billings Parks and Recreation and the Billings Scorpion Lacrosse coaching staff, with campers receiving instruction from current high school players from Yellowstone Valley Lacrosse, Billings High School Lacrosse, and Rimrock Lacrosse clubs. This camp will focus on the basic fundamentals of lacrosse: ground balls, cradling, passing/catching, and shooting, while giving campers the experience of playing this high-speed game in small-sided scrimmages. Campers should bring water, sunscreen, and a hat each day to camp. Campers must be signed in and out daily by their Parent/Guardian. This camp will take place at Optimist Park (Ryan Ave. & Hallowell Lane).
This youth camp is under Billings Parks and Recreation’s concussion Protocol. Please make sure to read the document at the time of registration or find it on our website HERE
