Dog Days of Summer

dog days of summer

Billings Parks and Recreation is holding its annual Dog Days of Summer event at Rose Park Pool! Adult companions are required to supervise their dogs, but will not be charged an entrance fee. Water friendly toys and life jackets are allowed and lifeguards will be on duty. Our lifeguards are all First Aid and CPR certified to make sure everyone at Rose Park stays safe. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs on the pool deck and lawn. Owners are not allowed in the pool for safety concerns. All dogs must be up to date with current rabies shots and vaccinations.

Dog Days of Summer is free to dog owners, but cost $3 per dog. The Dog Days traditionally marks the end of the swimming season at Rose Park Pool, and has become a fun way to usher in the fall with a fun day with man’s best friend. Concessions will be available as usual, burgers, hotdogs, candy, and Coke products. Check out the Summer 2020 Brochure to see all the fun and exciting options Billings Parks and Rec has to offer.
