The Forestry Division is expanding Arbor Day celebrations out into the community, promoting environmental education and giving back to nature. This spring, support local businesses and organizations offering Roots & Renewal programs. Events

People’s Garden Gardening Techniques: 10am The People’s Garden @ MetraPark w/ Nature Nick
Billings Public Library: Houseplant Swap 6-8pm, Library Community Room
Montana Audubon Center: 6-7:30pm Amphefestival w/ Montana FWP
ArtHouse Billings: Special Screening: 7pm Ferngully – $8 tickets ($3 is donated to PRPL)
Saturday, May 9th:
People’s Garden Interest Meeting: 9am 4H Building on MetraPark Grounds
Nomadic Yoga: 10am Morning Yoga on the Rims (Swords Park)
MSU-Extension: 2pm Presentation & Garden Tour at St. Andrew’s Church
ArtHouse Billings: Special Screening: 7pm Microcosmos – $8 tickets ($3 is donated to PRPL)
Yellowstone Valley Astronomers: 8pm evening star-gazing event at Montana Audubon Center
Sunday, May 10th:
PRPL: Small Tree Pruning Class w/ licensed PRPL Arborist Brian: 10am, 11am, 12pm – $10 fee (click individual times for registration links)
Yellowstone County Weed District: 9:30am Invasive Species Walk at Riverfront Park
