Arbor Day 2014 Pioneer Park

Arbor Day will be Friday, April 25th in Pioneer Park.  This year’s theme is, “Pioneering the Future through Trees.”  Starting at 7:30am tree enthusiast from around the Magic City will descend on Pioneer park and work to beautify the park.  At 9:00 approximately 400 4th graders from surrounding schools will move through environmental booths setup up by some of Billings Environmental professionals.  At 12:15, Governor Bullock will be on hand to help celebrate Arbor Day at the formal Arbor Day ceremony.  The general public is invited, following the ceremony the public is invited to tour the environmental booths and free tree related classes will be given from 2:00 until 4:00pm.

♦  If an individual or company would like to volunteer to be part of the morning work day please sign up @ Volunteer.  In order to guarantee an Arbor day shirt signup no later than April 11th.  Volunteers will be accepted the day of the event starting at 7:30am.
