Billings Parks and Recreation offers Adult Lap Swimming Monday-Thursday throughout the summer. Swimming is a very healthy activity that can be continued through most of an individual’s life, due to its low impact on joints, muscles, and bones. The health benefits associated with swimming are worth the effort to give it a try if you haven’t already! Regular lap swimming can develop and maintain an individual’s general strength, cardiovascular fitness, and endurance.
